I specialize in teaching Reading, Writing, and Mathematics for students in Kindergarten to 3rd grade. I am an experienced certified teacher in the state of Texas (since 2004) and hold a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Texas A&M University (2008).
I individualize my tutoring services to your child’s specific needs and work to keep our lessons in alignment with the specific grade-appropriate TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) – these are the state standards for Texas students. Currently I am only offering virtual sessions – I am experienced in this modality and have conducted entire classes, small learning groups, and individual lessons in this format. My workstation is set-up to provide my students with the visuals and interaction necessary for productive learning.
